Using the application
is very easy!

  • Stop at the right place, make sure that the accuracy of the coordinates is acceptable to you;
  • Touch ( + ) to save the coordinates, then "Current location", enter any name, if desired, select the icon;
  • Touch "SAVE";
  • That's it, it's done! Now you can return to the same location at any time, just by clicking on it in the list of your places!

In the same way, you can add coordinates from a previously taken photo to get to the desired location!

FAQ


Not all compasses are equally useful, or what to do if your device's compass doesn't point North:


  • Before launching the app, make sure that you do not use a case with a magnet, and there are no working electrical appliances or metal objects
  • Calibrate your device's compass. This is very simple: you just need to "draw" the number 8 in the air with your phone, as shown in the picture
  • If you see a red exclamation mark, the magnetic field strength obtained from your device's sensor is very different from the theoretically calculated one. Usually it can be observed in a city where there is a lot of metal and working electrical appliances. In this case, you should not trust the compass readings, you can only count on the exact distance to the destination and navigate by it.
  • The main thing is not to panic. Send your coordinates to relatives, friends, or 911, depending on the specific situation.
  • You can still go to the saved coordinates by determining the direction of movement in which the target is getting closer.
  • Remember that moss on trees grows mainly from the North side, anthills are usually located on the South side of the tree.

Unfortunately, some apps and messengers have their own browser, and do not process app links, but there is a way out:

  • Copy the link with coordinates to the clipboard and launch the app. Now, when you click ( + ), an additional item will appear with the ability to insert coordinates from the link copied to the clipboard.
